Introducing St Mary’s Hampton

St Mary’s is a local landmark. It is the church that many people see on the road by the river, along from Hampton Court. For those who travel by bus it is marked by the stop ‘Hampton Church’! Its tall elegant tower is widely visible in the local neighbourhood – a testimony to the Christian community that has been in Hampton for almost a thousand years.

In the 21st century the church continues to be ‘alive and well’, even flourishing. As a Church of England parish church we reflect the diversity of our surroundings. We hope that in one way of another everyone can connect with St Mary’s. There is a lot going on.

The heart of the church’s life is God’s love, experienced in Christ. And that love is for everyone – so come in and be part of the family; you are welcome.

Parish Safeguarding Information

Every person has a value and dignity which comes directly from the creation of male and female in God’s own image and likeness. Christians see this potential as fulfilled by God’s re-creation of us in Christ. Among other things this implies a duty to value all people as bearing the image of God and therefore to protect them from harm.
